Preity hits back at the media

Preity Zinta's 34th birthday is going to haunt her for a long time. The police booked her for playing loud music during her birthday party following complaints filed by the residents in the neighbourhood. More than that, the media sensationalised the whole issue and made the mole hill look like a mountain. She is obviously upset.

The bubbly actress admitted that the police called on her house while her birthday party was on and turned off the music. She added that she was fined on the spot and have the receipt for the same. However, she just can't take the false reports by some section of the media that she continued to play loud music after the police left her house and no action was taken.

Infuriated by the false reports, the actress said that the media should be more responsible in investigating and reporting the facts. She added that she is a law-abiding citizen.
