The effusive Preity Zinta said that the real reason why she was taking an interest in the Indian Premier League was because she was fulfilling the dream of her father. Preity’s father was a great sports enthusiast who used to sponsor the Duraganand Zinta Football Tournament in North India.Preity’s father was also known to sponsor poor children who were interested in sports. After the death of her father, Preity wanted to start a big sports school. But lack of funds forced her to put off the project.
She is now making it up in a way by joining the Premier League and playing an active role in sponsoring the Kings XI Punjab team.
